Choralation was formed 5 years ago to offer students from both Westlake Colleges the opportunity to sing in a mixed choir environment. In its first year it was a reserve choir for the Finale and for the past 3 years has participated in the finale.

Description

Choralation was formed 5 years ago to offer students from both Westlake Colleges the opportunity to sing in a mixed choir environment. In its first year it was a reserve choir for the Finale and for the past 3 years has participated in the finale, last year gaining a Gold award. After this year’s Finale, Choralation will record for TVNZ’s Praise Be and will also perform for the Southern Hemisphere Premiere of Walt Disney’s latest movie ‘A Christmas Carol’. Prior to this Finale Choralation enjoyed performing with the Fundamentals, the Burnside Choirs and Voicemale in Christchurch.

History

Participated in Big Sing Finale for past 3 years, last year gaining a Gold Award.
