Description
The Wellington College Chorale, directed by Head of Music Katie Macfarlane, was established in 2005 as an auditioned choir of 16 members. Over the past five years the popularity of choral music at Wellington College has grown, and so too has the Chorale. This year the choir is a group of 25 students, representing Years 10-13 of the College. The Chorale is a versatile ensemble that sings a wide variety of genres. Their goal is to continue to foster a love of choral music within Wellington College and the wider community, and also to travel overseas to experience choral singing of other cultures.
